I've known the owner for a while, and needed a lube, oil, and filter for my Ford Maverick hybrid. I had a few minutes during the day, so I stopped by to ask about scheduling the job. They were able to fit me in on the spot. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they vacuumed all the gravel off the floor mats, something I hadn't been able to do myself. Excellent service, very friendly, super shop overall.

I went in to get my AC repaired and also asked for a full inspection of my 2017 Suburban. The inspection was thorough and I’m thankful to understand the forthcoming issues so we can aim to keep the vehicle running before extensive repairs are needed. Wit took the time go make sure I understood what was critical versus what could wait. I got the most pressing items repaired and walked away satisfied. Communication is great. Pricing was fair. Thoughtful to provide a ride to and from the shop to my home. I feel treated fairly and I’m glad to have found a go-to mechanic in Dripping Springs.

My A/C quit working. So with the hottest months ahead, I knew that I couldn’t postpone the repair for very long. But I have trust issues with mechanics, so I began doing my research. This was when I found Dripping Springs Automotive. After reading a few great reviews, I decided to call them and hear what they thought. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the person’s understanding of A/C systems off the top of his head and his process of troubleshooting procedures to isolate the problem so he could accurately pinpoint the failure and fix it. The next day I got an email with descriptions of what they found with pictures of my A/C and very accurate estimates as well providing recommendations for other work that needed attention .One was my leaky water pump and the other was my worn serpentine belt. I suspected these things but was glad to have them confirmed, along with my suspension that would be needing work down the road. The cost was reasonable considering the amount of work they were doing and I sincerely believe that you get what you pay for!! Cheap work never pays off in the long run. Those guys really take pride in providing exemplary customer service and I highly recommend them to anyone with trust issues!! I’m glad that I got to see for myself the reason why they were voted the BEST Automotive Service in Dripping Springs for 2026!! Heck, they even cleaned my truck inside and out before giving it back to me!! Need I say more? 😁😁😁😁

Ive always had difficulty with trusting mechanics with my 20-year old truck. So when I realized that I absolutely HAD to bring it in for repairs and servicing, I carefully researched the immediate area; unfortunately, I had to rule out my own town. But.. I discovered that Dripping Springs Automotive was highly recommended- even with the 226 Dripping Springs Best Automotive Award. Even when I chatted with them, about my trucks problems, their knowledge off the top of their head on what needed to be done convinced me I found the right place! I have to add that once I dropped off my truck, their office walls were covered in awards! Clearly, everyone at Dripping Springs Automotive took pride not only in their work, but also in their impeccable reputation!. They gave me a detailed quote before any work was done and it was exactly the amount when I went back to bring my truck home. For someone with trust issues, I would highly recommend these guys without any hesitation.

When my truck wouldn't start, they were able to squeeze me in for the day and promptly inspect all the electronics, battery, and alternator. Whit, the Service Manager, and the mechanic were great at explaining everything and getting me back on the road.
